Shaun, on the tools, writing the email.
Shaun has over 20 years' experience in UK construction. He uses AI the way the newsletter suggests you might: to draft a quote, untangle a supplier email, or turn a rambling note into something a customer can read. The tools do not hang the boards or set the price. He does.
Why this exists
The big AI newsletters are written for people in tech. There is already plenty for general UK small businesses. Much less is written for tradespeople and sole traders, in plain English, with pounds and UK rules, and with a prompt you can actually paste.
The Toolbox Talk AI is that weekly note. A toolbox talk, on site, is a short briefing before the work starts. This is the same idea, for AI.
How an issue is made
- We search the AI world every week so you don't have to.
- Every claim is checked against the page it came from, and that page is linked.
- Shaun reads issues before they go out while the newsletter is new.
- If something is wrong, we correct the page and say what changed.
What we will not do
- Invent subscriber counts, testimonials, or other statistics.
- Copy someone else's article. We summarise and link.
- Hide an advert or an affiliate link inside a tip. Ads are labelled.
